Goodbye, I've had my fun

Post by BlohmWolf »

I'm sorry guys.

I've been wanting to see if I can start doing some airfix like before, but now it seems like my creative talent and knowledge is so far gone now, I don't particularly feel like starting again.

So, to cut short, I'll state what could be summed up over a few hundred paragraphs of text, rolled into two words.

I'm done.

I attempted to come back a few times, but couldn't stay. So, in all sincerity, its about time I packed up my bat and ball and headed off.

I thank those of you who helped me out on here, from my first post in 2012 to now, I did have a good run and it was enjoyable, group builds, sharing photos, talking with members, yadda yadda, all good fun.

But now, I see nothing more in airfix. I'll come back one day, but for now. I'm not so sure anymore.

So, see you guys and gals later.

Good luck. Drop in again sometime. It's okay to have a change of interests. Most of us do.

Cheers

Not a goodbye from me but certainly a see you later. We all, well most of us have at some time or other have thought about giving up with the plastic. I went through this a couple of weeks ago when I was in the loft trying to make order out of the chaos that is my stash. I thought ''What's the point''. Well at that moment I could have easily listed everything on ebay but I didn't. last Thursday I was in hospital having an operation and I am having to take it easy for about a week so just before the op I went up and dug out a few kits and model supplies 'just in case' Well I now have two almost complete Matchbox Jag T2's. My point?. you never know what may bring you back to the hobby so see you later and even if you don't pick up the plastic please call in now and again to say hi and let us know you're ok.

All the best.

Greg

You don't have to make models all the time BlohmWolf. Pop back in and let us know how you are.

A lot of us have had long breaks from the hobby Blohm, for instance I didn't participate in the hobby from my late teens until re-starting in my early thirties. Best of luck and if you feel the urge to talk modelling again, you know where we are

The urge may kick in again, so I'll just say 'So Long.' All the best.
