Another maritime addition; Revell 1/72 Corvette Platinum Edition
I already have this part built, but it was early in my return to modelling, so looks as though it was hammered together and painted with a broom. This attempt will be quietly buried at sea when Mrs iggie is not looking and I'll take my time with the replacement, although it is under consideration for the forthcoming Royal Nay Ships GB :-D

Best wishes

It'd be a shame to dispose of it mate, the conversion potential is there. I have often thought of getting one of these and making it into a CAM ship complete with Hurricane, probably need some lengthening and certainly a top end rebuild of course.

All the best.

Nice move, Iggy. You're going to have to wait for a pretty dark night to smuggle something of that size out, but I suppose it makes a change from smuggling them in!

It took me five years to finish mine, and you can see how my modelling style changed over this period as I started at the bow and worked my way back. I just hope the Platinum edition doesn't have as much flash as mine did....

And, quite coincidentally, the postie should be bringing my 1/144 version of the same subject in a few days.

Nice one Iggie. Thats always been one of my "Some day" kits.
Bit of a dip in mojo lately, so I got these for my birthday in the hope they can pull me round again.

A small addition to my much too large stash. I was given a new Airfix 1/48th Hurricane MK1 yesterday. It's from the 'Ready for battle' set. A customer at work complained that he had a some bits missing, oddly enough all the parts he had missing were the parts for both re-fuellers and the ground crew and equipment????? odd that :???:

All the best.

None. Too busy between now and then, I'm afraid.

Just got to hope now I get my car back for the weekend too as it is in the garage on Friday.
