Oh, No! - My Stash is Getting Unfeasibly Large!
Re: Oh, No! - My Stash is Getting Unfeasibly Large!
Charity shop buys for the last two weeks.
Airfix
1/72 Jaguar GR1A part started (badly) I have already taken it apart and re-done the interior and assembled the airframe.
BAe Hawk (black RAF Hawk / Finnish A F boxing)
Hampden (again part started rather badly but restorable)
Hawk (red arrows)
Revell
1/72
F16B
Jagdpanther (ex Matchbox)
All for less that £20
All the best.
Greg

Popped into town to drop off some clothes to the charity shop and found these 3 unstarted beauties for £2 each :
Couldn't walk away from them at that price!

I should think not! Whose tooling is inside the Shackleton box? Is it a froggie in sheep's clothing or a limited run?
Best wishes

If you can walk away from a landing, it's a good landing. If you use the airplane the next day, it's an outstanding landing

Tis indeed the FROG kit, and a very cleanly molded example of it too

Re: Oh, No! - My Stash is Getting Unfeasibly Large!
Following receipt of an email from a supplier I have used in the past, I have just ordered the Italeri 1/35 British MTB (St. Nazaire) at a very nice price!
They have a few big kits at 50% at present: http://www.jadlamracingmodels.com/models/sale
I have no connection with this seller nor will I be responsible for any marital disputes or similar that may arise by following the link provided

Re: Oh, No! - My Stash is Getting Unfeasibly Large!
This kit's bigger 1/72nd brother just seemed a tad too large, so I was glad to see the 1/144. It's still fairly large, tipping in at roughly 17 inches. I was hoping to try a couple of ships; to see if I could pull out of the summer, modelling rut I've been feeling. This one will come sometime after I try a 1:350 destroyer. I'll have to see if I even like ships, being a land-lubber.

Bargain from Ukraine - 10 euro each

Thanks for the thought, but, submarines really do give me that sinking feeling! Guess I'll stick with the stuff that floats or fly's.MarkyM607 wrote:Try submarines, they're really easy!!.

Re: Oh, No! - My Stash is Getting Unfeasibly Large!
Following the order of the Italeri St Nazaire MTB referred to above, it has arrived today
It's a heck of a big box , I'm not going to get that past Mrs iggie without being noticed!
And another possible for the large scale plane build (but an unlikely contender to be honest) the Revell (ex Moebius) 1/48 Battlestar Galactica Colonial Viper Mk.II
This may get built as a WHIF in the future.....
