Gregers wrote:I got it through work. Oddly enough this exact model has been through my hands about four years ago when I sourced it for someone. I paid exactly what it was aquired for then. I do admit I regretted not keeping it for myself then, odd how things turn out.

All the best.

Unfortunately not. If I see one cheap though I will be getting it. And I am a firm believer in 'mates rates'. on the day I first got this (at the NEC toy fair) I also got an original bagged with paper header Airfix one for the same price. And a pile of bagged Airfix kits for £2each including two Canberras and a Blackburn NA39.
And I was working there so got paid too. That wss a damn good day all in all.

All the best. Greg

I am officially a happy bunny :-D
To add to my Bandai Star Wars collection, this little beauty arrived from Japan today 8-) 8-)
1/144 scale, so it matches their Millennium Falcon, but even at that scale it's going to stand about 120mm high I think!
I'll do an inbox review later for those interested

I've got a bit of passion for the old liners. I have quite a few but am missing some so every now and then I search out my needs at a decent price. I stumbled upon one a few weeks back and it was the first of this ship ive seen in a while. I was out bid and it sold for $56. The following week several popped up on eBay. I was able to get this one for about $26 shipped. It was suppose to be complete and I couldn't wait to get it. When I got tit this morning I opened it to find the hull parts were missing. Very disappointing. I sent the seller a message and they promptly refunded my money. Now I'm hunting for a replacement. Its a stunning ship

That's a disappointment but it's good that you had a seller that's honest enough to refund your money without arguing.

Very useful set Arni; I have one similar and they have been much used in tight spaces where foam sanding sticks can't go!

After a clear out,due to wonky hand,my stash has increased 100%

After coming home and looking in the box,I am having second thoughts, its much too complicated for me.I will see if I can take it back and swap it for something easier.
