Here's my small haul from SMW at the weekend:

From the IPMS Members' kit swap:

1/48th Airfix Lynx for £15.00

Image

1/72nd Airfix Spitfire F.22 for £4.00

Image

1/48th Tamiya 109E Trop for £9.00

Image

A brand new Christmas present to myself, the 1/48th Airfix Tomahawk - more than likely I will do the shark mouth option

Image

And finally a freebee courtesy of chrism and the only CBK, the venerable 1/32nd Airfix Crusader, a kit I have fancied building for a number of years. As you can see Chris has part built the kit and I have in effect a primed model ready to be completed. Many thanks Chris for your very kind donation to the cause!

Ah I was wondering if anyone was going to get an SR 53. It should be good as it based on the masters of Freightdog's resin kit in full cooperation

LOL.

How much: - well on the basis of how much he has cost in vet bills recently he should be worth a bloody fortune!

What Scale - about 2:1, hence the vet putting him on a diet!

From Pat at Collectakit - I couldn't believe my eyes - just sitting there in plain site.
I was expecting it to be about £100 but when I saw the price on the box was £50 I knew I had to have it - I tried to haggle Pat down but he was steadfast with the £50 which I thought was fair enough. I had a look in the box first and the kit was still sealed in the original bag, and the sticker sheet was intact. First time I've seen one in the flesh since about 1974 I reckon!
