Got something to say about the hobby of model making?

Also, i'm going to make my first million off a USB breathalyser that stores all your passwords: you have to blow in to it before it lets you SNIP make regrettable Ebay purchases SNIP.
You'll make a second millionaire as well; Toby with all the money he would save by not being able to buy on ebay after going to T'pub  :-D :-D
Best wishes

The trouble is my local is having a special offer on all real ale and selling it for a £1 less per pint than normal during January. It's an interesting conundrum. I'm drinking more and spending less. Basically every fourth pint is free. .

Except we haven't had our share of the raging debate over "infeasible" vs "unfeasible"

Not mine!

I am working on selecting a load to sell at JaxCon in Jacksonville in February and if they don't sell there, I'll post here and if that fails, eBay. I am focusing only on UK air arms in the Cold War and getting rid of my surplus even of those kits (i.e do I really need 15 Hunter kits?). I am feeling quite virtuous and smug about it.

Anyway, in an effort to stay on topic ...

Matchbox came out long after I had left the nest so I cannot call them, like Airfix, child-hood memories. Regardless, since introduced to them, I have built/collected many of their aircraft, military, and autos but until now, the only ship is the Flower.

As I have been working in 700 scale, albeit resin, these seemed interesting, in particular the San Diego as I find the Atlanta-class AA cruisers fascinating. I suspect I will go looking for some "modern" aftermarket to tart that one up a bit - the others will be OOB.

Hopefully this'll be the only addition post I'll have this year (yeah right) - I actually ordered these before new year so I'm adding them to last year's A:B :ha:

Airfix's New tool Hurricane and newish Spitfire mk.XII in 1/48.

Image

Having fondled the plastic - both kits look awesome and the Hurricane has the option of a volkes filter and arrestor gear for a sea Hurricane so expect new boxings from Airfix at some point.

Cheers!

Had a spend up using vouchers i had for christmas in Hobbycraft.

Looking forward to the Morris Mini Cooper, I built this as a teenager years ago and one look inside the box and those memories came flooding back so I had to get it. The other two piqued my interest when I saw the "Dogfight Double" boxing but bought them separately and saved my self £4. I really want to start getting back into some 1/72 stuff again this year...
