As most of this forum knows I have never had a stash,I usually buy one build one,buy one ,build one and so on.Recent bad news has left me with little time of my own,so I have to maximise what little time I have. With that, all new complex kits were were binned and easy classic kits that can be done wheels up were obtained.I now have for the very first time in 35 years plus of modelling,a stash.

All of the Frog kits come with stands and only one of the Tamiya does, but they can be built wheels up.

Completely different kit.

E-3 is a Boeing 707, KC-135's and versions of are based on the Boeing 367-80.

The C-135 series had a narrower fuselage and are shorter than the 707. Also wings are noticebly different.

This is for the fuselage width.
Image

This image shows the E-3/707 wing shape at the top and KC-135 wing shape underneath.

And the final image shows the KC-135 (top), RC-135 (middle) and E-3(707)(bottom).
