If those 1/700 ships are as sharp as the Hobby Boss 1/350 ships, then they'll be very nice little kits indeed!
Best wishes
Jim
If you can walk away from a landing, it's a good landing. If you use the airplane the next day, it's an outstanding landing

Recent arrivals chez iggie:
I took advantage of the Airfix 'Airshow' sale to get the bridge, Mustang and Magister and to round it up to get free postage, the new release Spitfire PR.XIX. After all, you can never....etc. etc. etc.
The two subs will go into the 1/350 maritime section
And a second AT-AT for an eventual Battle of Hoth diorama; this was on Amazon at a silly price, delivered from the States

Nice score, Iggie. I thought Airfix deleted the Magister, but nice to see that it is still available especially with Irish Air Corps markings. And I have built the Revell Type VIIc; a nice little kit it is too.

So, this arrived in the post:
Opening it revealed these:
And these:
Oh, and these:
These:
Almost forgot these:
There should be 48 all told but I seem to have mislaid a couple. Probably stashed them somewhere safe. This was an eBay win where, surprisingly, I was the only bidder. Total cost, including postage within Australia, was Au$310 (about GBP180, USD250) which is an insane bargain.
It also means my stash has doubled in size, temporarily. Of course, the discussions with SWMBO about how many I am ultimately allowed to keep make the Brexit negotiations seem like a walk in the park . . .
And can someone please explain why I then bought another four kits at last week's meeting of IPMS Sydney?
Cheers all

Excellent looking haul mind you, some classics in amongst them and a seriously cheap price!

hi iggie curiosity got the better of me and i've unbagged the flight 1 version sprues and parts and to me they do look sharp and very nice(ship novice's opinion)iggie wrote:If those 1/700 ships are as sharp as the Hobby Boss 1/350 ships, then they'll be very nice little kits indeed!
word of note for anyone who might wish to purchase one is the photo etch supplied has to be used for a number of parts as the area 's where some fit are blank

Got these this morning (seven quid's worth off the 'Bay)
Together, they're going to be a MiG-23BN for an upcoming project. Nose and tail off the MiG-27, the rest off the 23.

This is why I decided not to go to that meeting though - the stash is bad enough already.
