Got something to say about the hobby of model making?

Popped over to Halifax Modellers World today and added the new Airfix 1/72 Bf-110C to the stash.

My better half bought me a kit I've been looking and hoping for since I started out in 72nd kits:

She'll be built out of the box with an I visible message on her belly.

Also found a bargain Revell Hurricane in one of the Local Charity Shops.

I'm having so much fun building the chequered BE2c that I went out and bought the other version Airfix had released earlier.

You have to love the action packed box artwork.

A couple of additions to the stash. One will be underway as soon as possible. First is the Academy Avenger, I have a set of FROG decals for this one. The second is a build request from Sarah. In her family album is a rather old pic of her Dad stood infront of a Mosquito TT35. A bit of research shows it to probably be RS718. An aircraft that may have later been destroyed during filming of 633sqn. I have bought a Matchbox Mosquito for this build and it will be done as it was in the pic with her Dad in.

All the best.

A few fairly ordinary weeks at work had me ready to go on a spree. Had to decide between killing or shopping  As sharp knives for model building aren't allowed in prison the retail option won out

Nice haul Arni. Watch that varnish though near clear parts; the last time I used it to gloss a Hawk, it frosted the window better than a hard winter!

Nice Harley.
Just a small addition to my stash. A couple of Mission Model paints and a Fujimi Harrier GR3 IN 1/72.

All the best

Another couple of Bandai kits have found their way into the stash; the A-Wing courtesy of Sir T and his stash clear out
The Modelcollect V1 Launcher looks a fabulous little kit; it comes with parts for a complete V1, and also another missile appears to be included which I think is the Rheintochter 1
