If you can walk away from a landing, it's a good landing. If you use the airplane the next day, it's an outstanding landing

Just a couple of extra purchases. Also found a Italeri Spitfire Mk.Vb to use if I get another Brigade Models Mk.XII conversion set. This is the kit it was designed to be used with but trying to save money I used the Airfix Vb I had available. Then I find the Italeri one around £5-6.
Also got one of my grail kits as they say. Maybe not the best but I never got to this one when I was a school going modeller. Always one of the bigger size kits that was so cool to get if you could because it was so much bigger than the 'pocket money' fighters and the like. (Not pocket money ones now!!).
Thanks to Falcon building his prototype version I got to liking this aircraft again so....

Re: Oh, No! - My Stash is Getting Unfeasibly Large!
I have enjoyed building the Airfix BE2c kit so much I looked for other kits to build and found these two going cheap on eBay from different sellers.
The RE8 is only just younger than me being released in 1957
For some reason I doubt if these two will be as easy to build as the BE2

3 from E-bay that I'm really pleased with.
From the top:
The Esoteric O3U has been (a) hard to find and (b) even harder reasonably priced, but I finally got one. The aircraft is one of the better looking biplanes from the US Navy 'tween wars and well worth the effort to acquire.
Next is the Eduard Sopwith 1914 Schneider. Interesting little kit - the main pieces are styrene, but all the interior detail, the struts, and a lot of other detail are PE. Would really look good if I could truly do a "see through" CDL paint job. YCNHTMSopwiths.
Last is the Esoteric "Body Job" kit to convert the Matchbox SBC-4 to the -3, a much better looking version with the longer cowl encasing a twin-row radial. The original conversion kit is just a new fuselage and decals, but I also got a complete Revell re-pop of the Matchbox kit, so I'm all set.

@JohnR I've also got the Schneider with the intention of doing the Schneider Cup racer. There were two versions of this kit I did purchase the other from a seller on another forum but it went missing in the post, thankfully got refunded.

Yes, James, I'd prefer the Cup racer version - have to see what I can do with what I have. I haven't put any study time into it, though. I'm not sure I was aware of an alternte kit - I'd be happy just to find the Cup racer markings.
Edit: ask & I shall receive -- I have the Airframes vac kit and it is the Cup racer with decals.

Re: Oh, No! - My Stash is Getting Unfeasibly Large!
I popped into a little model shop in Exeter today and nabbed these two I fancied the new Airfix version and had to have the old Revell kit to remind me of my childhood, I remember building it back in the mid 60's after seeing the film "The Blue Max" and wanting to build all the cool WW1 I could get my hands on.
