WWII Pilots Flight Log and Photo Album [A Piece of History]

Post by Dirkpitt289 »

For those that follow me on Facebook you may have seen this earlier this week. This album and flight log belongs to a co-workers father who was a co-pilot on a B-24 Liberator in Europe during WWII. This is an AMAZING piece of history.

Flight log of 2nd Lt Lewis Goetz

Fantastic piece of social history, and some wonderful reading.......
We will do well to never forget the efforts and in so many awful cases the ultimate sacrifice of so many that we who follow them are able to live a free life.
Thank you for taking the time to put this up
Best wishes

Man, this was a pleasure despite the issues I with Photobucket. I still can't believe how awful it is to use it these days.

Thank you for sharing this Dirk. The silver doped Stermans most interesting. A terrific piece of history.
