It is a bit quiet over there. I was going to show up with something (still might), but I find the Matchbox GB is keeping me more than occupied. Given the numbers in that GB, I wouldn't be surprised if I weren't the only one with that experience..

I've very intention of joining in Jeff but – like most of us, I suspect – I'm having a hard time finding 24 hours without work, commitments or responsibilities. Maybe I can organize something next week.

I would like to join in,maybe if I can find a suitable kit at my LMS,as unlike most modellers my stash can be counted on one hand.

I have never had a stash as such, because I am a prolific user of plastic models.I buy ,I throw against the wall,I build and I throw against the wall.

I have just picked this up as Blitz Fodder to start on Wednesday and plan on building it using just the paints it comes with so what can possibly go wrong

I agree, building one now (although not for a blitz). It seems very nice and parts have all fit well so far. The only problem I found was getting the tracks to stay put while I trapped them in place with the outer wheels (I know I shouldn't have painted the sides of the wheels so I could glue the tracks!!).

I did try but encountered a "preplanning error" so had to pull the build.

I find the idea of Blitzbau very appealing, but building in 24 hours daunting{even though my last two models did indeed get built in a day},but they were military vehicles, not aircraft.I prefer building aircraft but I always seem to struggle to complete them, nuts I know.

The two HobbyBoss aircraft you picked up recently are perfect Blitz candidates. I've built the Mustang, and it can be made into an acceptable unpainted model in half an hour, and quite a good one with some fast filler and about 4 fours. The rest is painting.

Have a go at it, if you can find a suitable time window. At worst, you stash will be reduced to a more managable size.
