Mines arrived.....ImageImageImage

Although unlike Stuart, I can't start mine yet as I have a self imposed rule that I must build at least two kits from the stash first before attacking a new arrival.....Image
And there is the small matter of a certain flat-top to get off the bench before anything comes out of the stash.... Image
Best wishes

Jim
If you can walk away from a landing, it's a good landing. If you use the airplane the next day, it's an outstanding landing

You get around all of that by not putting it in the stash in the first place :-D

Glad this release (my 2017 Christmas present) is getting positive reviews.
Now can we expect an equally long thread on exactly what enamel paints to use to paint it?
I'm hoping someone will expain the difference between Braunviolet RLM 81 and Dunkelbraun RLM 81 and where doess the confusion lay.

I'll get around that problem in the same sure fire method I get around all paint colour issues - By not caring and going with whatever's 'close enough'

That's the spirit!
Probably means following the kit paint instructions then. However forewarned is forearmed.

Just received email stating my Me262 is at the US warehouse. Boy o boy o boy.
Besting 60 years of mediocre building of average kits in the stand off scale
