Hi all,I am bored with doing the normal colour schemes and I want to do my Harrier in a colour scheme of blue over green like theYak 38 Forger, can anyone tell me what colour paint is a match for the blue and green seen on the Forger,as I am out of my comfort zone,as I dont normally do jets or Russian aircraft. Thanks in advance.
Regards celt.

When I built my Forger I used Tamiya XF8 blue and xf26 deep green.Close enough for me.
Bergamot's paint guide that comes from their extensive decal sheet suggests FS25020 - flat dark sea blue and FS24110 - flat dark green. The blue should be 35050, a typo I think , this is Blue Angels blue which according to ipms Stockholm charts can be humbrol 190 or tamyia x03 . Both these are gloss I think, mine was matt which I glossed for decals then added a matt coat at the end.The green comes up as Lifecolor interior green according to a google search.Alternativly AKAN do a set for the Russian Deck Aviation set number 47323, the individual colours being - grey dark blue 73154 and green 73007.

Hope this helps.

Hi shangos70,this is a great help,my paint of choice is Humbol acrylic,so according to my conversion chart XF8 is H25 and XF26 is H88.Thanks again for the help.
