But are we allowed to post links to our Facebook Groups to the forum, in order to attract members? Perhaps as part of a sig line?

Am answering on my phone so not sure if I can move a post. Is it to a model related page? Ifyes I can't see a problem. For other stuff I would message the admin team with the link for it to be ok'd.

All the best.

UAMF of course has a FB presence. I would nod affirmative if it is strictly model building. And maybe to Admin types could review it before posting.

Forum Rules prohibit anything other than plain text in signatures to avoid spam by signature.

Other than that, there's nothing wrong with a post in an appropriate forum (Small Talk, perhaps others, for modeling; General Chat for non-modeling) and as Jeff has noted, we have a FB presence which would seem a logical place to make FB-ish posts.

We are a community, we care about members interests, and I cannot see admins wanting to play big brother on this -- better to manage by exception. Everyone (should) know the rules about content, family friendly, etc, and if all play within the lines, there is no reason to get all draconian.

Obviously, we'd prefer our members to be bringing new members here and not poaching ours :)

All models are equal. Some models are more equal than others.

I'm just teasing.

The scene is from the Simpsons. Homer is having a yard sale and the jacket is from his youth. He tried to bedazzle it with the phrase "Disco Stud" but ran out of room. :D

The characters walk up and his friend tells him "hey, you should get that jacket with your name on it", or something to that effect, and the groovy looking guy responds with "Disco Stu does not advertise"

It's one of the multi-tier gags the Simpsons excelled at, back when it was funny in the 90s.
