Airfix at Aldi
Airfix starter sets qppear to be on sale at Aldi again for £4.99 each. I picked up the Jet Provost T.4 but also spotted the HMS Victory, Cromwell tank, Spitfire 1a, Bf109 and Red Arrows Gnat.

They never seem to stock kits at our branch but I'll keep an eye out just in case!

Re: Airfix at Aldi
I managed to pick up a Jet Provost at Aldi today - it's for a T4 in CFS Red Pelicans.
I have a question; What is the difference in a T3 and a T4 in 1/72 scale? In reality the T4 had a more powerful engine but is there any seriously noticeable difference when making this kit?
Also as my Dad flew the Jet Provost at CFS between late 1964 and early 1965 I'm wondering what scheme these JP's had a the time. I believe they were all silver to start and photos suggest they had yellow wing tip scheme with yellow bands on the wing but later it seems this scheme was overpainted with orange - before the advent of dayglow and the scheme seen on the other JP kit from Airfix.
