Airfix Phantom 1/72 New Tool **IGNORE-Duff Info**

Post by iggie »

Just to let those who are waiting know that this is in stock at JADLAM Racing; no connection to me at all, just thought some would like to know.
Interestingly not yet (as at 09.00) in stock on Airfix site?
Best wishes

Jim
If you can walk away from a landing, it's a good landing. If you use the airplane the next day, it's an outstanding landing

Dammit!! That'll teach me to scroll down the page a bit! :evil: :evil:

The email I received says:
"You recently wanted to purchase AIRFIX A06016 McDonnell Douglas FGR.1 Phantom - Royal Navy 1:72 Aircraft Model Kit and it was out of stock! Guess what, Its BACK!!"

Oh well, a fool and their money and all that :shock: :sad: :sad:
Best wishes

Yeah, I had a look and saw the Pre-order bit. Why not wait till you have stock?. Apart from getting money now and interest???. Wonderland Models are really good place but are also guilty of having lots advertised but it's pre-order. Although they do usually tell you how long before it's available.
Hoping to return to modelling sometime this year!! :lol:

The Phantom was due October, then November, then promised definitely by mid-December, then in November it was put off till January perhaps Jadlam expected their order at the end of November?

Was it an email?

Read Jadlams note about that;
PRE-ORDER ONLY - RELEASE EXPECTED FIRST WEEK OF JANUARY 2018
shortly after buying a pre-order item, you may receive an automatic 'despatched' email.
please ignore this and keep checking our site to see if your item has been released.
