Hi all
As an occasional buyer of Airfix Model World, I found the Januarary 2018 worth it because of the Mitchell article.
Back in the 70s, I longed for a 1/72 North American B-25B Mitchell with Wright R-2600-9 Double Cyclone fourteen-cylinder air-cooled radial engins as flown by Doolittle off the Hornet. It never graced my shelves.
Despite this informative article with its sprue shot showing alternative cowlings, I'm still none the wiser. I just hope Airfix in the future, reissue it in Doolittle markings, thus ending a forty-year wait!

Yes!, but it will be nice not to have to rely on after-market products and spend hours studying pics.

Some people are never satisfied.
The "hours studying pics" is the most fun part of the hobby .

The Italeri B25 has markings for Doolittle's aircraft. Let me have a look in my stash as I think I have one in the stash.

Just comparing these pics with the magazine ones and you can see the huge advancement our hobby has made.

Thats the one. It comes with USAAC Tokyo raid and RAF markings. IF mine has the decals in (I bought it second hand and admittedly haven't checked it) do you want the Doolittle markings? I will do either the RAF option or a Soviet one
