Re: This should cheer you up.
Edited (thanks Stu!).
Looks good! All three colour schemes are a bit 'What If' in this boxing, but if you get the alternate boxing, Kit No. AZ7578, you can get a 'real' one, ie. All white. Preferable for me.

That is just great Chuck, I have just now ordered one of the "real" SR-53 AZ7578 kits from Hannants.
I can now forget all about the old Airfx clunker I have been looking for for ages-don't need one !
David.

I'll have to do that. If it's part jet, where are the intakes?general rocket wrote:Take a trip to Cosford, meet her in the flesh.Stuart wrote:That really is a very nice looking aircraft.

Right behind the cockpit on both sides; IIRC the jet was an auxiliary engine to get the aircraft home after the rocket fuel was exhausted and so did not have to be very big.

It's my model and I'll do what I want with it.

Thanks John, I google imaged it and see what you mean.jRatz wrote:Right behind the cockpit on both sides; IIRC the jet was an auxiliary engine to get the aircraft home after the rocket fuel was exhausted and so did not have to be very big.
I've ordered the wiff boxing. One of the options is the green/grey RAF scheme and everything looks good in that!
