I hadn't realised the Phantom was out, I knew there had been several delays in shipping from their point of manufacture. I'm holding out for the FGR.2 (hopeful next year) as I've the Fujumi FG1 and I rarely build the same kit twice.

All were lower than retail, but the 2 I got yesterday were around £22 each after discount.

Technically I purchased this in 2017 so my 2018 "stop buying" modeling goal in intact. Not my fault that holidays, snow, and ice have delayed receipt.

Any, resin kit -- offers 3 canopies and 5 markings choices so one can pretty well cover the prototype and various Mk.IA aircraft (car door, 12x.303, etc). I haven't gotten into it yet, but it's CMR and looks just great through the baggie.

This will go nicely with my FROG I.B, which is an early, and my new-tool Airfix I.B. I'm torn between building it as the prototype or as an in-service IA. The FROG can also be built as a I.A, by shaving off the cannon and maybe even use one of the canopies from the CMR kit. Maybe I should get another FROG so I can have prototype, IA, early IB, late IB .... then move on with my life.

I'd be interested to see how that goes together John. I've got the Brengun mk.IA kit in long term wip - not a bad kit with the option of the solid rear canopy or the clear replacement.

That Beetle wagon would make am excellent hearse.
New in the pile today. seeing as I had some of my christmas money left I have got myself a 1/72 Hasegawa Lockheed Orion. That's two in the stash now. One will be OOB and the other a NASA bird.

All the best.

Two new ones for me...

Although I was really let down with the Airfix kit, it's really got me into the Me262 and I fancied building another - So for my next kit I decided to 'Go large'....

I've been after this kit for ages, and finally found one on ebay for less than £20 inc shipping! I'll be building this for the RAF 100 GB.

Cheers!

I've not long built that kit. It's seems a little basic in detail but it makes into a good model. Definitely worth a go.
