Christmas haul for 2017

Merit 1/72 Osa I (already been on here but I wasn't allowed it until Santa brought it)

Nice, back in the seventies, I was a Wasp helicopter AS12 missile aimer in the Fleet Air Arm and our main target would have been the Osa’s, as luck would have it I never needed to fire a missile in anger.

Is there any chance of an in box review?

Regards Splash
Will see what I can do Splash. The Wasp is definitely one I would love to do someday

I remember Santa leaving that under the table at Telford. He does deliver to some unusual places these days

I bet you are, and please share the build. I’m especially interested in how the canvas roof goes together as I wouldn’t mind one myself.

I don't often share my purchases but now that the last of the Christmas acquisitions has arrived.....

This first one did come from Telford but it was put away for Christmas and was a gift from my daughter.

I got this from Mrs Dazzled

My mother always gives cash at Christmas (while the rest of us go to the effort of actually buying presents) so I used it to order these Sword N.A. Furies which arrived this morning.

Both have markings for USS Forrestal as options so fit in with my ongoing project nicely 8-)

Kind of have an obsession going on right now. Seems I've got an A-10 fetish going on. Bought this snap-tite kit (I'm working on it now - see my workbench thread).

Just bought a few kits of the Warthog off eBay. Now I need to do some serious building:

Nice little haul Dazzled, I picked up The Fj-3M just before Xmas. It's a pity that the box scheme isn't in decals and will require so much masking.

Fortunately I'm not planning to build the box art version but you're right, it's really irritating when kit manufacturers leave the modeller to paint areas that should be provided by decals particularly when that version is the one plastered over the packaging.

A small stash increase today after a trip to Halifax Modellers World.

Came home with a pair of the new Airfix 1/72 McDonnell Douglas Phantom FG.1's.

They arrived at Hornby/Airfix earlier this week for shipping and numerous outlets now have them in stock.

I actually have 3 more on the way from the same model shop bought via Ebay.
Chris.
