This ended up being bought with another Airfix Red Arrows 50th Hawk, oops...

Oh and a 1/72 Matchbox A-7D Corsair II accidentally fell into my hands at a Car Boot.....

I seem to have had a splurge on 1/35 armour recently ( ); as well as the Mk.IV & V WW1 tanks that recently arrived, I have added another Whippet, this time with 4 infantry figures and some WW2 German subjects. The Panzer 1Ausf and the P204 include full interiors so will be built with every possible door/hatch left open

Wow, Iggie! You must get a very healthy hobby allowance; which is good, as we just can't take it with us. Well done on the armor.

This is bad. You are tempting me towards cars with that toolset and I lusted after that Datsun when I was a teenager.

Most of my purchases are ebay auction wins although obviously new tools have to be purchased outright. There are still some bargains to be had through the auction listings, especially for the pricier kits but increasingly people seem to be listing kits with starting prices fractionally below RRP which always puts me off!

Buying models is my version of SKI-ing (spending kids inheritance :-D )

A lot of people recommend them for turning "browned" decals clear again so thought I would give it a try

Thank you, that sounds like a good idea. You'll have to clue us in if it works.

Those figures are 4/5 of the very nice Master Box Somme vignette kit, wonder why they didn't include all 5 (rhetorical question).

Thanks for the info regarding the figures John; based on my experience of the Master Box figures I did in the Figures GB, they will look good once done (I hope!) 8-)
