I'm collecting a few Modelcollect kits, these are the latest to arrive. The moulding is very good with some very nice details and each kit has a small PE fret too. The Iskander has vinyl tyres, not to everyone's taste I know, but they are very nicely done with hardly any seam visible.
The Revell Scorpion was a steal at £5.99

The flak panzer looks brilliant, diorama possibilities on a late war Luftwaffe airfield perimeter?

Hi Colin,

Modelcollect do a range of 'Fist of War' items, which are a sort of Luft 46 concept for armour. They also do 'real' subjects as well, and also merge the two sometimes!

I agree about the diorama potential; an Arado Ar. 555 with the flak panzer would fit the bill!

It came from Scalemodelshop.co.uk, as did the Modelcollect kits. Postage was £2.99 I think

This, ladies and gentlemen, has been my one and only Grail Kit.
It does not count against my 2018 resolutions as I special-ordered it last year.

It is the Lonestar Models resin/whitemetal 1/72 kit of the Curtiss NC-4 flying boat. Small hull, lots of engines, big wings lots of struts and oh yes, see the tailplane unit.

No idea when I will start it. I need to amass some references to supplement the "cottage industry" instructions.

The Curtis looks a handful. Tricky enough is plastic but resin can be a challenge. At least the main struts are metal.

Congratulations! That must be a nice feeling knowing you have completed your grail list
Let us know when you are ready to start, I suspect you will be able to sell tickets for this 8-)

Holey Moley to you there with that resin one John.... it looks like it will bite back quite hard in places until tamed.

My recent additions are some resin wheels and stowage that will fit into either a Jackal or Coyote from the Airfix Afghanistan range... and then some bits and bobs from Atlantic (they can speak for themselves ;-) )...
