Oh, No! - My Stash is Getting Unfeasibly Large! *2018*

Post by MarkyM607 »

I've acquired these latest additions to the stash!!. The 360 should go nicely with the same company's 330 and the Airfix Skyvan, although the latter is 72nd and the 330/360 are 1/144th but never mind, saves the conversion effort I was going to do using the aforementioned Skyvan!.

I actually bought the Tornado in November but forgot about adding it to here until now!.

My first purchase of the year - I have wanted this kit since I was a lad. It will be built and finished in Viet-nam camouflage scheme.

I believe Eastern Express are (have?) also releasing a Skyvan in 1/144

Yes, I think they have, it does seem to be termed an S.C.7 I think it is. Already done the mighty Airfix issue so won't go for it just yet.

Oh yes. On the way home form work this morning I wandered by the Cancer Research shop, it's on the way. I found this....
I don't know it's retail price but Kingkit have one listed as pre-owned for £32-99. I got it for £7-00! :-D

Not even opened inside and all complete!!!. I look all the time but it's rare to find much. Occasionally though, one is rewarded with a find like this. I'm not sure if it's the re-box of the Hasegawa kit by Revell but I don't really care!!

Charity shop find - Revell 1/32 Starfighter for a fiver that turned out to be a bit of a lucky dip. No instructions, well, not the right ones! they're for an Italeri Sherman :???: There is also what looks like an Italeri 1/35 British 8th Army figure and a sheet of decals for a 1/72 Chipmunk in RAF and RCAF service.

Unwanted gifts perhaps??. Got rid of with a bit of indecent haste if so. Still, one person's unwanted gift is another charity shop find!

Nice, back in the seventies, I was a Wasp helicopter AS12 missile aimer in the Fleet Air Arm and our main target would have been the Osa’s, as luck would have it I never needed to fire a missile in anger.

Is there any chance of an in box review?
