Okay I'll Play (for your entertainment)

I still have The phantoms part to sort on an excel list I'm doing. (so the pictures were only taken for my benefit to amend my the list) I got to 160 kits, and tried to reduce it to 100 lol I now have 173 on the list but most are now staying.

I've commited to themes of British postwar aircraft in 1/48 and phantoms (Plus sundown aircraft only five)

in advance (sorry for the picture angles as I said they were take for reference!)

My stash is kept extremely well hidden. I hide my addiction very well, the wife might force me into rehab (gardening/decorating). Seriously I have managed to cram at least 150 kits into a very small space, I guess I used to be good at Tetris as a kid. I don't build as much as I would like.....

Wow! Now I know why it was so difficult to find the TSR.2 with the first release: the TSR.2 kits are at Chris' (Falcon) home. Luckily I have two in my stash now.

Just wondering but why would anyone buy so many kits that they couldn't ever hope to build them

Is this sort of thing signs of some sort of mental problem, do you all suffer from some sort of OCD?

Like i said "Just wondering" don't take offence.

Actually...NOT having a stash that puts your LHS to shame is more a sign of an OCD-like compulsion to resist buying what you really need than a harmless foible like needing to live to be 172 to build every model you've bought...
Please critique my posts honestly i.e. say what you think so I can learn and improve...

Welcome Paul - that's one way of introducing yourself.....

I'll ask you this - why does anyone collect anything? Because they enjoy it.

Do they enjoy it or is an un-controllable addiction.

I suspect we all know the answer to that one, but like most addicts no one is going to admit to it are they

The first step to recovery is being able to stand up and admit you have a problem

Small, but perfectly formed... :)

About 20 kits, some of them are half built. That should keep me going until 2012 at the current rate of progress.

Hmm. These photos are a couple of weeks old and thus out-of-date, since I got some new shelves and have been able to organise things to be a little less wobbly. Still gives you a good idea though.

What you can't see in the photos are the approximately 3 million spiders I share the garage with -- they live on the 6 million millipedes that I also share the garage with. Fortunately they all tend to keep to themselves and leave me alone. 8-)

Nice looking collection you got there Bruce. Lots and lots of Star Trek stuff I see. I see some Dragon kits that I wouldn't mind seeing in my stash. :ha:

Can you go look the other way so that I can take a closer look at that Colonial Viper(s) 8-)
