UPSM Build-in.

Post by jssel »

Just wanted to tell you all about the latest club do by the Upper Peninsula Scale Modelers.

We had a build-in where we met at a members shop and commenced to build a single kit in twelve hours. I guess all my talkng about Blitzbau's got some attention.

The kit of choice was the new Revell Midget Racer. The entire club showed up for the event but only four of us were builders. Mine was complete in ten hours.

A great day was had by all.

Our club has been together for 32 years now. Membership is around 12 right now. We build everything but I am the only CBK'er in the group.

Very cool and a nice build. There is no way i could get 12 hours at any one time to sit and build a model. Its not that I don't want to its just my life won't allow it. I guess i have to settle for stealing an hour or two here and there.

Make a stab at having it as a demonstration sport in the 2016 Olympics.

Like blitzing on this site, you have to plan ahead a little.
