S&M 1/144 Viscounts for a fiver

Post by JamesPerrin »

Just scored an S&M 1/144 Vickers Viscount as a Buy It Now for £4.99 + £2p&p off ebay uk. 10 sold more than 10 in stock. Evidently someone has a box load there are selling cheap - normal price around £10.50

I have nothing to do with this sale. It's just a good deal if you are interested.

No window cutouts but I believe they have good shape. Plenty of civvie decal options though I'll be going for an RAE version which I'm sure would interest you.

Or at least did so last year.

Hum, for that price I could take a flyer on it and try to convert it into a 700 Series TCA bird.

I may be interested in one of these also. James, could you tell me roughly what the dimensions of the finished kit would be, nose-to-tail and wingspan wise please? Also, any links for those Raspberry Ripple decals or similar - I'm not really up on airliners or civils etc.

NOTE,

Be very careful when Googling this model, do NOT search for S&M Models with kids in the room...

Cheers
Al.

 I wondered how long it would be before somebody noticed that...

Googling "S&M Models Viscount" was an altogether more wholesome exercise.

Thanks for the heads-up, I just bagged one too! :-)

I think that these are being sold by Selina from S&M Models, so no wonder that they have a lot in stock!

Cheers, Andy.
