Oh Happy Day!

Post by Mikeew »

Today being my wedding anniversary my wife and I exchanged prezzies and cards as per the norm.
Now, imagine my surprise when I was given a box and upon opening it found this!

I only mentioned this once in passing in the last couple of weeks!!
I am a happy bunny, she got what she wanted too from me so it was smiles all round.
I might have to make a start on this baby later, after a nice chinese meal and a glass or two of Pinot Grigio ;-)

Er, you might want to re-phrase that.

Er, I'm lost for words. Didn't you do that earlier? ROTFLMAO.

Anyhow, I'm extremely jealous, nobody is giving me one of those Seafire kits and I wants one.

Well I quite fancied one of these too - but if you two are making it  I think I´ll go for something else!

Happy anniversary. I like it when you each receive gifts you want. Reflects you take a
interest in one another. Gentleman's discretion on the wife's gift. Lyell..

Happy anniversary!

I'd have to stamp a gift reminder on my wife's forehead to get her to buy me something like that for our anniversary.

Having said that she'd have to do likewise with me just so I'd remember the date so it even's itself out!!

Is this a new kit or a re-box?

That's cool because it looks like a nice kit form the box art.

It's on a par with the Spitfire Mk.XII kit, and has decals for the ocean grey/ dark slate grey over sky camouflage scheme which is a major bonus.

Do you know if you can do a wings up version like the one in the background? Sure would allow me to build another model and save space at the same time!

Yes you can - Airfix have included two complete wings, one folded and one extended.

I see you're writing Eurovision song contest lyrics :ha:

A walk around would be great.

Cheers
