Would any USA or Canadian members to the forum have a source for lycra thread or equiv. for rigging biplanes?
Google came up with Shorty's Basement so far.

Re: Lycra thread--USA or Canada
EZline is elastic thread available from http://www.bobeshobbyhouse.com/ezl.html;. I find this stuff very useful, but use only the thinnest type. It comes in a few not-very-useful-for-biplanes colours, but also charcoal grey, which works well enough for me.

Have you used ceramic wire. Some of the biplane guys in our club use it and it is amazing.

Try http://www.fabric-dreams.co.uk/Miscella ... :6276.html;
Obtained for rigging & it is very good for 1/72. Stretches about 3 times its length.
