That Dragonfly really turned out well Giulio and Rome, what a wonderful city it is, we went a few years ago and loved it. No matter what the French may say, Italian food is the greatest

:-D :-D :-D :-D Thank you Shaun

In this Picture, me and "Chef Rubio" Last sunday in Villa Ada.

Image

Who is "Chef Rubio"?
Despite he's very young (29), I think that that at this time it's the best Chef in Italy.
His specialty is the "Street Food" traditional Italian, but also knows how to juggle well in the "classic cuisine", always respecting the Italian Tradition.
I knew him two yeas ago, in Rome, and I really love his way of cooking and "interpret" the dishes.

For a true Italian, eating is not only "eat".
Eating it's a pleasure for the palate, a feast of colors for the eyes, a paradise for the sense of smell, but mostly...... it's Culture.
Let me give an example: the famous "Fettucine Amatriciana," are from 1600 bc, the year in which it is drawn up the first written recipe known.
In Sicily there is a dish called "Caponata"....well Greeks, Romans, Arabians, Spanish and Normans, from 400 Bc, give something to this dish!
And i can show you a lot of this examples.

I can tell tou about the wine, but it's not the right forum, and right place.

Good night Gentleman, sorry for the OT, forgive my English and thanks for reading, :)

Image

In the photo above, "Fettuccine Amatriciana," cooked by Barbara wonderful cook and my beautiful girlfriend, according to the original recipe of 1600. :-)

Some really nice building going on here as ever Giulio. The Dragonfly is super.

A nice bit of culture too. I love Italian food, I have a very nice Italian cookbook which is one of my favorites. I hope you enjoyed your meal :-)

Cheers

Nice work on the Boston, do you use a punch to make the circles of card?

Yes, I have a punch and die set, but in this case, I used a different technique, and I hope that the picture wiil be more understandable than my English  :

With a pencil, I marked the position of the hole on graph-paper, and drilled a little hole on the paper.

Image

Then I put the graph-paper over a plasticard piece

Marked the holes with a pencil.....

...... removing the graph-paper and you have the holes marked and ready to be drilled!

The right side, instruments panel and pilot's seat are ready.

Wonderful scratch detailing Giulio, I don't even attempt such things, my bad eyesight would not permit it!
