In the end, refitting the track was not too difficult. I scraped away most of the gunk and simply threaded the tracks back through. It seems to have held, wedged between the drive teeth and mud-guard. No glue was used :ha:

The three Italian vehicles are now complete and in their galleries ;-)

I've just had a butchers in the armour section and they look great. I'm glad the Carro was an easy fix!

Your projects always bring good memories and just sheer pleasure of looking at interesting subjects. These are no exceptions.

Nice one and certainly something different  The way the girl is posed on the bike reminds me of those glitzy motor industry launches where they present the latest car or motorcycle and drape some young lady/ladies all over it for the photo shoot.

Back in 2013 I was given these two Vulcans that had been started.
Image
This one has had dramatic wing-surgery, back-dating it to a B.I

This one seems to be an OOB B.2
Image
The undercarriage doors are shut, so in-flight it will be

Both have parts missing - I've managed to scrounge some bits and raided my spares box for others
Image
Let's see where these go

Interesting stuff Ratch - the previous owner must have badly wanted a Vulcan B.1 as it has required major reshaping of the leading edges but should there still be a kink towards the outer end? I thought the early Vulcan had pretty much dead straight leading edges. I stand to be corrected of course :ha:

The prototype had dead straight leading edges with chopped tip, then the kinky one for the B1 and the much kinkier for the B2. I found a good overlay picture showing the three types

Didn't know Vulcans were so kinky. I will never watch an episode of Star Trek the same way again.
