More progress today although just a building day.
First off the 1/76 Bedford QL Kit bash has the rest of it's parts added from the two Airfix kits, apart from the glazing:

Painting should begin tomorrow on this one.
Next up I tackled the 1/48 Bedford MWD and got the cab in place and also built up the rear body. Here it is with the body and after market wheels dry fitted:

Still not sure whether to have the engine visible with this one once it's complete. The body is quite a tight fit so I may just leave it as is to allow me to show off the inside as it will contain two pilots being transported to their 'mounts' on the airfield.
Updates to follow.

The Cromwell now has some paint on it and I have also done the tank riders.
Here they are placed for the time being:

I've also managed some paint on the QL Refueller and the underside of the Bedford MWD has had a preliminary coat of dark earth:

Updates will follow

There has been a little progress with a couple of these that are on the bench.
First off the Bedford Refueller now has some markings:

Also the Cromwell now has it's tracks and some markings:

Then the majority of it's paint work was completed:

Nice Cromwell. I have one lingering at the periphery of my bench.

I am getting to be a real fan of small scale armor. Like these very much.

As the Cromwell has departed the bench I decided to have a crack at the 1/76 Airfix Panzer IV.
However, yet again, I will be converting it by using another SandS Models conversion kit in order to make a Bergepanzer IV. It's really for a 1/72 scale kit , but shouldn't look too out of place on the Airfix offering. Here's the parts:

and here's where dinner stopped play this evening:

Cool! Braille Scale Bergepanzers are something you don't see every day.

Had chance to catch up with the Bedford MWD in 148 scale. The engine bay and driver have both got some preliminary paintwork applied:

You have some very interesting projects on the go here, Corricon. I've yet to venture into 1/48th scale for military vehicle builds although it is a scale I have built aircraft in regularly over the years.

A little more progress on the bench, this time with the Matador Refueller.
I now have all the conversion parts attached, so now it's ready for me to complete the paintwork:

Image

That will then just leave me to add some finer detailing, markings and some weathering.
Updates to follow, thanks for looking in.

Some more work today with the Bedford Refueller and also the Bergepanzer IV.
First the Bedford, which now has refuelling hoses from solder wire and also some internal framing to the rear doors as these will be left open:

Image

All that will be left then is the final painting, adding the glazing, adding some mirrors and then some weathering.
Then I turned to the Bergepanzer and managed to get all the white metal conversion parts attached to the hull:

Painting will recommence in the next day or two with any luck.
