After a quarter of a century in the loft this Hase Cougar was brought out to get finished in the tartan markings it was intended to wear. Unfortunately it got dropped and a bunch of parts got detached and lost
Here she is awaiting the lost parts ( a nose door, main door, horizontal stabilizer and two pylons ) to be scratched from Plasticard
*She's restored to her state of 25 years ago now

Once again you figures are outstanding. You must have a ton of concerts on display at home! So much life in the poses! What inspired you to do rock icons in concerts?
Cheers Paul,
actually, none of them are on display yet, they're all in boxes awaiting the day I finally get the spare room cleared and some mega shelving built around a CD/ turntable setup with space for all my vinyl and CDS with the converted figures in their own little spaces like bookmarks separating the albums by artist. ....not forgetting a wall mounted 'Flying ducks' type arrangement of my Strat, my Daughters first three quarter size Strat and a dinky wee half size Strat that I picked up in a Cash Converter store.

how I started doing Rock stuff? well, about 4 years ago I hadn't made any kits for a few years. Then I had to clear the loft to put in some insulation and amongst the stash were a bunch of Airfix 54mm figures that I had bought in bulk to make a '45 Rising diorama. Just for a bit of fun I converted one to Frankie Miller since I was actively campaigning to get the City to commemorate his achievements at the time. That's what opened the floodgates!
Do you light the models? It would look very cool by your turntable with spotlights everywhere.

Great Cougar by the way! She is a beauty.
Paul

This is it. The moment we should have trained for.

I must be losing it! I was looking at the first of those 3 photos and wondering why it looks so crap? ...it's not the 1/72 Hase......it's the old 1/48 -( ish! ) Monogram clunker!
this is the Hase.....

It is the 1/72 Hase, I just accidentally posted one photo of the Godawful 1/48 Monogram effort amongst the Hase pics due to photo titles being similar

Very nice. I looked at your first pic and thought "Why don't my wing fences look like that?" All becomes clear now. Mine is at the decal stage

That's the one of least of the inaccuracies in that kit Nigel, I think maybe they got Donald Trump to do the wing fences!

Great Cougars, PT - personally I don't think the Monogram one looks at all crap!
Doing - Tamiya 1/35th Universal Carrier.
