Great work PT; both look very atmospheric
Best wishes

Two great looking builds PT - The backgrounds really add atmosphere.

That looks good to me PT. My jury is out regarding 1/48th scale military vehicles although I appreciate that they fit in with 1/48th aircraft of which I have a number in my collection. At some point I will have to climb off the fence and try out a kit
Doing - Tamiya 1/35th Universal Carrier.

Re: Purplethistles patch
Cheers guys, The kit itself is very nice and goes together surprisingly sweetly considering the size of some of the well scaled parts. I'd recommend this one apart from the frangible decals and quite vague instructions.
I reckon I'll do more armour in this scale as (depending on the maker) its cost is just more than 1/72 and way less than 1/35. Actually, the 1/48 ICM 222 is only a quid dearer than the 1/72.
I have a different dio setting in store for this wee fella, but given that the BBC had very kindly provided a powerful backdrop (once the truck was photoshopped out ), it would have been a waste not to have used this.

Marvellous, it looks really great against that backdrop PT. I enjoyed the SS-GB series (I've had the book for donkeys) and it fact it is the first series that I've watched on Beeb 1 for quite some time. Interesting that the kit is only slightly more expensive than 1/72nd considering the price differential that often exists between aircraft kits in those scales.

Another one of the Airfix 'England Stars' getting converted to Partick Thistle striker Kris Doolan. Started on Wednesday 29 March, finished on Friday 31 March.
....gets taken along to Matchday Hospitality on 1st April
...and presented to the man himself after the match where he scored his 100th and 101st Thistle goals to come back from 0-1 down and give the Mighty Jags a 2-1 victory over Ross County!

That's brilliant PT, a great looking figure done in a short space of time and what an honour being able to present it to the actual subject! I take it that perhaps you're not an Old Firm fan then?

When it comes to the Old Firm I'm very even minded....I loathe both of 'The Ugly Sisters' equally!....they're two cheeks on the same a**e!
