Blimey, it's been a long time since I was last on this bit.

I failed to finish my Grumman Panther during the XIX Blitzbau.
This was how it was at the end of my 24 hour stint;

The white on the nose needs another coat. The guns need painting. Then decals. And after that the HVAR under the wings and the sliding canopy. oh.....and some seat belts, . . . . and . . . . . .

Nice one Fred and you can now finish it at your liesure. The Panther is a great looking early jet IMHO.

Work continues on the my Airfix Grumman Avenger.
I'm converting it from a TBM-3 to a TBF-1C
Wheel wells were boxed in before painting.
Three coats of Sky underneath, first coat of EDSG on top;

Hurray for finishing the Panther. It's a great little kit for it's age; simple but lovely surface detail.

Tidy work on the wheel wells not straight forward at all.

From today on I'll be putting some of my SMW 2017 contribution builds on here.
There may not be many photos, just a start and and inbetweeny photo, if I remember to stop and take photos.

Food? I need to loose nearly 4 stone. I can't eat when I'm modelling.
