What a wide range of models you have built. Whole lot of work on the tiny figures. Looking good!

Wee bit more done on HMS Victory. It became apparent that there was no way I could construct the ratlines, lacking the necessary skill and dexterity. A trip to the 'net turned up Atlantic Models who do a rather spiffing brass photo-etch set for a generic square rigger. One of which you see fitted. More than happy with the result, I'll press on with the rest.

It has also become apparent that I am going to have to ditch the original kit yards and sails, just no room to fit them with all the string about. So she's going to be completed with yards from cocktail sticks and no sails. Sails could be made from paper, etc. but by the time I get to that stage finishing the ship will be the foremost thing on my mind!

More figures in the post but the ratlines are getting finished regardless :frown: .

That is a superb looking build thus far - I do like the look of these tall ship kits but haven't had the nerve to try one yet.

Ratlines fitted, now onto yards and the final bits of rigging.

Sir T; I think it depends on whether you want a straight from box build or mess about with it. Certainly no more difficult, less in some cases, than an aircraft or an AFV. For a first in a while, I think I've pushed this one a bit too far. Should've been a bit less ambitious and completed a couple of others first.

Victory build complete; touch up the paint and fit a couple of decals and it's all over.

Three years since my last post in here, tempus does indeed fugit.

Anyway; a couple of Continental batallions for the American Revolution in 28mm scale. One ready for the the finishing sheds, the other continuing in the painting sheds.

That's quite a nice Yankee squad you've got there.

Be careful, people will confuse you with Ratch turning out such excellent work.
