The tank it's superb, a great weathering, well done Sir.
Sometimes the talent consists exactly in that: try five dozen times when others stop at three dozen...! (F.Labelle)
I think that modeling is a subtle mix of zen philosophy and absolute crazyness - but in my case I would not dare to specify the respective percentage of each......

Thanks, guys. You're making me blush.

James - I don't think I've ever seen a Diamond T in the flesh ever. Pretty cool.

Just finished number 14 for the year.

I like this kit and will build several more. I've trying to finish this one for a bit now, bui I'd mislaid a few parts. Today, I just happened to glance in the right place and there they were.
Really nothing pithy to say.

That's a lovely looking Hurricane John - Nice work.

I do like your photos - very sharp and clean. What set-up do you use? Do you have a light box?

John you are doing some lovely work on an eclectic mix of subjects. I am definately into the Great War rhomboid tanks - I really must get on with building (nay finishing) the ones I have. Trouble is, I keep signing up for GBs.

Thanks, guys. I appreciate the comments.

Stuart - this is my photographic setup:

I have 2 different light boxes. Which used depends on the footprint size of the photo subject. Incidentally, the subject here is in the current SAMi issue.

Shaun - yes. Belgian markings from the kit. They behaved very well. First rate stickers.

TeeEll - I'm also becoming very interested in Great War subjects. I recently picked up Flyhawks Renault. Tiny little kit, but it looks like a gem. I gave up on GBs as I rarely seem to be able to complete them. I'm too distracted by the bright and shiny new.

Great looking Hurricane, very nice! 8-)
That photo studio also looks very good indeed, i'll be aiming for something like that in the future, first step will be a real camera, so i can stop taking pics with my iPhone 3GS...

I can't emphasize this strongly enough. You don't need an expensive camera to take good model photos. A good point & shoot that allows some manual control will be sufficient. Good light is important. A tripod or someway to steady the camera and some sort of remote trigger are also important. All of these can be had relatively cheaply.

I have the setup I have to support my photography hobby. Model photos are just a bonus.

I never owned a camera before so never did much photography myself before modelling came back into my life 3 years ago.
Thank you for the tips, it's great help for someone who has no real knowledge on the subject. 8-)

that's a lovely set up John - thanks for sharing it. I do need to invest in a lightbox and some decent lights.
