Shaun - my photos here are a happy outgrowth of another of my hobbies. I like macro photography, so I already had the equipment and software to take nice photos. I certainly wouldn't advise anyone spend large amounts of money for equipment for model photography. That is, unless they were to do this professionally. I've seen some very nice model photos taken using a cell phone.

TeeELL - I saw from your profile you like WWI subjects. I hope this little tank meets with your approval.

Ok. A couple more hours and I'm calling it complete.

This is a really nice kit that is only marred by the poor rubber tracks.

This is number 13 for me for this year. Best finish rate in a long time.

Thank you, gentlemen. These MB Great War tanks are really superb. I wish they also did some French and German tanks from this period.

Very nice, Johnsan.
I don't know how you guys turn your hands to such a variety of subjects. I am really struggling to show any enthusiasm for our local Airfix Cromwell group build. Lovely kit, but......

Well, more variety coming up.

This is IBG's 72nd Diamond T asphalt truck. Nicely detailed if a bit over-engineered kit.

Very interesting selection John and that is some great work with the Eduard 190. Oh my, that looks very much like a Sp****re to me, never thought I'd see the day!

Why, yes it is, Shaun. Actually 3 are on the bench currently. One is in honor of Paul Bradley, one is for OT, and the other... well it just seemed right to do 3. They're all Eduard overtrees. I'll have to source some stickers.

I guess I just have no shame. A sucker for a good kit.

John,

What are your thoughts on deviation from the instructions with the full side panels attached to the fuselage half? I've considered it, but not gotten to the clip the parts off the sprue stage yet.

I did it this way thinking it would be easier to paint. I use very thin paint coats so I'm hoping I can get away with the deviation from the instructions. We'll see.

You won't believe it but a Diamond T drove past the end of my road a month back, not and everyday sight in Huddersfield. It was heading up a hill that goes 1/4 eventually!

Great finish on the tank John. The Diamond T and FW 190 are coming along nicely. Lots of detail for such a small truck and interesting markings on the 190.
