That's the PM Lippisch?
Hooley Dooley! Just goes to show how a great finish can transform an ordinary kit.

I love the polished wood effect on the Lippisch. I'm thinking about trying this effect on a 1/72nd Mossie. I have a Tamiya kit that would be suitable.
So many models, so little time.

Mike,

Does your 'build and convert' book cover re-scribing?

(Hope so I've just ordered a copy)

Cheers

Stuart, re-scribing was covered in the Airfix Fiat G-91 article, which I believe was in the second book, so I guess it depends on which one you bought.

Get them both. A great investment.

Bit more progress has been made on the Rapide.

More struts still to go on.

Finished this recently too, it's the Brengun 1/72 Zlin Z-50 aerobatic aircraft. The complex colour-scheme was simplified by the use of a masking set, and a vac canopy and PE set were also used. It's a tiny little thing when finished.

Mike, Your Zlin is amazing! I like the shot for scale with Tamiya bottle a lot, gives a nice perspective on what you were working with :).

That little Zlin is amazing Mike and it looks like there might have been PE involved particularly with those thingies on the wingtips - any idea what purpose they have on the full-size? are they perhaps a orientation aids for the pilot?
Doing - Tamiya 1/35th Universal Carrier.
