Great Stuff!
...had a bit of fun figuring out all the goodies on your shelves, but what is that black and yellow thingamabob near the RC heli in the first pic?
Love the pair of bombers.... the ones with wings!

Thanks Asoka, the black and yellow thingamabob is a fully functional robot arm kit I made a few years back, I have other plans for it to be controlled by a raspberry pi, but that's another forum discussion.
Unfortunately the hell is grounded permanently as the batteries are faulty and no longer available, plus I've moved on to quadracopters

Further progress on the Hurricane, canopy is painted and fitted
I'm going for a wheels up version and I'm in the process of making a stand for it.
Also made a start on this, although it won't be just snapped together, and the instructions say that painting is optional, what the?
The unboxing pics to follow, shockingly packed!

You're building a time machine........out of a DeLorean?

The way I see it, if you're gonna build a time machine into a car, why not do it with some style

That's something you don't see every day: DeLorean and Style in the same sentence.....
Best wishes

Re: The Cave of RudiB
Here's the unboxing of the Delorean kit, looks like it was the last box they packed on a Friday afternoon
One of the main sprues was cut in half as it didn't fit in the box and some sprue isn't thinned out were it meets larger parts
I'll tackle this further next weekend as I'm on my travels at the moment, at Loch Ness for a wedding.

The Hurricane is coming along nicely, and the DeLorean would be worth watching!

Re: The Cave of RudiB
Here's the latest on the hurricane build, just about done and ready for decals. The stand didn't come out as good as I'd hoped, I'll have to make another one at some point.
further work on the Delorean, main internal cockpit built, the paint scheme showed to only use light grey for everything inside, I'll be adding a few colour details
Also attempted to dry fit the body, it's squashed inwards at the bottom, so I've left it wedged open slightly on my vice to try and pull it open.

Re: The Cave of RudiB
Here's an update on the Delorean build, its been slow progress on this one due to other commitments but had a few hours on it this weekend.
The interior has been painted, with a bit of imagination as the paint guide pretty much tells you to paint everything grey?!?
Also fitted the body on to the main chassis, this put up a fight as it is squashed and slightly twisted. As there was no way to use clamps and the force needed to pull the corners in was quite large I came up with this solution - some well placed holes for the front and rear lights and mounting points allowed the fitting of cable ties, these have successfully pulled the body in to place, had to resort to superglue to hold the body to the chassis mounting lugs.
The decals for this one won't take long, the only included ones are the front and rear licence plate!
On another note the Hurricane is almost finished, just awaiting decals.
