Falcons 2016 workbench.
Got some paint on this one after almost a year on the shelf of doom.
Used old Humbrol enamels for a change too.

Good old reliable Humbrols!

Ooh look, an F-16
That'll make a small dent in the stash Chris
Nice to see a model make it off the shelf of doom though

Just finished one of my project F-16's.
This is my Imperial Iranian Air Force F-16A.
The Iranians had ordered 160 with options on a further 140.
After the Shar of Iran was overthrown in 1979, the US Government cancelled the the whole order.

Cool!
Got to wonder what 300 F/16s in the hands of Revolutionary Iran in the 80s would have done to the balance of air-power in the conflicts that followed...

Re: Falcons 2016 workbench.
Cheers guys.
Been working on a Turkish Air Force F-16C Block 40.
I wasn't happy with the paintjob when I first removed most of the masking.
Re-masking and re-spraying appears to have done the trick.
It would appear that when I first sprayed the darker of the greys, I had knocked the air pressure up a little too much and the paint had come out far too glossy.
I think I am starting to get the hang of spraying the old Humbrol enamels again.
