Re: Craigs Bench
Nice one Craig, the IP looks very effective. The Super Mystere is a great looking jet IMHO. What markings are you going to finish it in? French Air Force? in fact did anybody else fly it apart from the French?
Doing - Tamiya 1/35th Universal Carrier.

Re: Craigs Bench
hi got a bit more work done on the super mystere and fouga magister and primed them to see what the seems look like ,the magister is ok but to my surprise the seems on the mystere are less than stellar which i had not expected
also primed these two heller kits which are for the coldwar sig display at telford ,a MD450 Ouragan it's a dnf from the nifty fifties gb and Saab J21A after a fill/sand session, both ard going to need touching up a bit more going to try tamiya grey filler next time, the J21 cockpit still needs painting as i'm not sure if it should be black or a dark green.

Best wishes

Re: Craigs Bench
as the filling and sanding sessions on the 3 jets and the j21 was getting a bit tedious i have been tinkering with a couple of stalled 1/76 tanks to get them ready for paint one is the matchbox A34 Comet which i put the driving and return wheels on the wrong way round they have been cut off and the holes drilled for a couple of metal axles, the rear of the turret is getting boxed i also think it should have a gun mantel cover which i could do with some advice how to do that, the other kit is the airfix centurion that i extended the hull length on by 2-3mm and will do i bit more work on improving the rear engine deck again i think this should have a gun mantel cover and i might have a go at improving the turret storage boxes with a bit of plasticard
with the centurion i was thinking of backdating it to MK 5 or 5/1 but wasn't exactly sure what needed to be done
cheers craig
