0.08mm Maxima fishing line.. scales up to 5.75mm, which seems about right? I used to attach the threads to the upper wing, this is my first attempt with drilling all the way through that wing.. we'll see how the cleanup looks (metal finish=no place to hide)

Looking through these pics I know those 1/144th kits have certainly gone to a good home. Superb builds. I tried guessing what the SE5A would be finished as, I thought one of the aerial signwriting aircraft but was wrong (as usual  )

All the best.

I'm actually in the process of rigging one of the tiny Hanriots and the other is painted. I'll get some pics up shortly

They're a steep learning curve: load bearing PE is no joke! Getting there, though.

Meanwhile, the wiring is done on the SE5a wings (aside from the flying wires at the front, need to attach them to the UC legs)

Need to go and get some new blades for my x-acto before I finish the trimming and tidying.

That's taking shape very nicely. Patience is the watchword with any biplane. ;-)

That looks superb mate. Very well done. Especially considering the tiny size of the model.

All the best.

Best wishes

Thanks mate.. the Revell kit is typically basic, but fits well and generally behaves.

It's nice, by Pegasus standards.. not too much flash and the fit isn't horrible at all.. the white metal engine is very nice.

Got some work done on t'interior

The Albert Ross is shaping up to be every bit as good as the SE5
