Thanks, much appreciated.I have tried using an airbrush and got very good finishes, but the prep work and then clean up made doing models a chore. Now if I feel like modelling,I flick open a pot and dab some paint on a brush and slap it on a model, simples. Not as good a finish as airbrush would get,but good enough for me.

That's the point! Do what you like, and do it at your pace and do it for yourself.

Hi all, here is a few more attempts to put together perectly good kits and instead end up with these pathetic examples.

The Hunter and Wyvern are both Frog kits and the TA-4J is Hasegawa, all old kits given to me to ruin.

All three look great Celt; the Wyvern especially, that scheme suits it well!
Best wishes

Still can't see the 'pathetic examples'.
But your models look fine! Love to see the FROG examples, and that pretty little TA-4 is probably almost as old!
Nice work!

There's nothing pathetic about your efforts, Celt. Keep building :)

The Wyvern looks good in those US Navy markings - nice bit of whiffery!

Thanks Sir T,the A-4 was a good kit,no filler but the decals were a pain, they did not want to stay put. :frown:
