Airfix 1/24 Hurricane mk1

I have never done a kit of this size before,the parts are huge compared to what I am used to.

This is the state of play so far.


I like these paints,they brush well. Only problem is that you have to order them online,as my LMS does not stock the range.

Some more progress to report.


All painting was done by hairy stick,internal paints were Humbrol acrylic and external paints were xtracylic.

That's an interesting scheme; which aircraft/squadron dies out represent? It looks rather good!

Thanks iggie the aircraft belonged to No. 69 Sqd,Luqua,Malta 1941.

I am on stop at the moment because I have not got a 1/24 fin flash and black seriel numbers. :sad:

Really nice work on the Hurricane. That one is really BIG. What a wing span! Very smooth work for hairy stick!
