Re: A Kit Bashers Bench
Airfix 1/24 Hurricane mk1
I have never done a kit of this size before, the parts are huge compared to what I am used to.

Nice work Celt; especially like the pilot
Best wishes
Jim
If you can walk away from a landing, it's a good landing. If you use the airplane the next day, it's an outstanding landing

Nice work. I like your second pic, looks like the aftermath of a bad landing.

This is the state of play so far.
I like these paints, they brush well. Only problem is that you have to order them online,as my LMS does not stock the range.

That's an interesting scheme; which aircraft/squadron dies out represent? It looks rather good!

A very busy bench
Besting 60 years of mediocre building of average kits in the stand off scale
Re: A Kit Bashers Bench
Thanks jssel, this is my first large scale kit,I have enjoyed it.It only cost £20,down from £68.I would never of bought it otherwise,my modelling budget has a limit of £25 max.jssel wrote:A very busy bench

Really nice work on the Hurricane. That one is really BIG. What a wing span! Very smooth work for hairy stick!

This is it. The moment we should have trained for.
