A Kit Bashers Bench
Re: A Kit Bashers Bench
Not done much due work and lack of interest. A good friend at the model club I attend gave me this model to ruin. Its not my cup of tea normally but in the end I enjoyed building it.The colour is not accurate but its as close as I had in stock, all paints are acrylic, some Revell and some Humbrol, slapped on with a hairy stick.

You've slapped that paint on very nicely Celt I do like the Jaguar, but not a fan of the over-wing stores.

If you can walk away from a landing, it's a good landing. If you use the airplane the next day, it's an outstanding landing

Thanks for the kind words chaps much appreciated. Not my usual fare, but I might try more pointy things in future.
Re: A Kit Bashers Bench
Not done any modelling due to lack of confidence, many more models than usual have gone to the local plastic recycling tip.Still reading posts on UAMF though.Paint supplies used up,no models in stash and cant find the enthusiasm or will to restock.

Hang in there Celt! We all hit slumps now and again.Dont let it get you down, the mojo always comes back!
Re: A Kit Bashers Bench
One of my favorite. Like the aircraft, the mission etc. You have done well here.

One fine looking Jaguar Celt. Very neat Stilletto too. The opening in the top makes it look like the VTOL aircraft Yak-38.
Relax and time will bring your enthusiasm back.

Re: A Kit Bashers Bench
I'm in a slump at the moment as well, Celt and I can't really put a finger on why but that is often the way it goes with me. These days I don't worry about it as I'm more laid back than I used to be. What I do nowadays is to keep in touch with the hobby indirectly such as looking at stuff on here and occasionally reading modelling mags and the mojo will then usually return of its own free will. Hopefully you will find the same and will resume your modelling before too long.

Re: A Kit Bashers Bench
Looks oodles better than my jaguar kits, which sit unfinished in their boxes.
Re: A Kit Bashers Bench
Thanks to dollar19,jessel,ShaunW and Softscience for your kind words. As you know I have been having trouble starting my next model,me,sulking around the cave got on SWMBO nerves,so much so she bought me two of mengs toon tanks. Now these are not my bag,but I built them anyway, much to my surprise they were a joy to build.
As is my usual way all paints are acrylic and a thrown at the model by a big hairy stick.

Now I like them. Just up my alley when the lack of MoJo hit. Appears almost War Gamer scale. I could see some real fun there.
