Thanks lads,I used the biggest brush I had and it took two coats, plus a touch up coat.If these models were priced as cheap as this one was,I would only do big models. My chubby fingers are much better doing kits this size. :)

Due to some problems,I have not been at my bench in awhile.I have managed to slap these two together.

As is my usual practice, all paints are acrylic, slapped on by hairy stick and stuck on a coaster.

I've seen this pair over in the AFV section of the forum and I agree, they look great and I like the use of coasters to make display bases for them, that is a good idea!

Had this kit for my birthday,a couple of weeks ago,so I thought I will make a start.

I said I was not going to make an aircraft again, but as its a present,it would be rude not to!!

I agree, Celt, it would be rude not to give this one a go seeing as it was gifted. As a temporary return to building aircraft, the Hellcat is at least a handsome machine!

Coming together nicely Celt. Hopefully the Post Image function is now working for you - I have started to use the facility after giving up on Photobucket which was taking an age to do anything! So far I have found Post Image to be easy to use and very quick.
