Thanks.
A week on, and not much to show. I spent most of my free time this last week, writing.
I managed to add the middle wing to the Fokker. It fits with the top of the forward fuselage, and the fit isn't really neat, so cleanup will be needed along that sharp edge. Not really my favorite thing to do. The rib-tapes will need to be rescribed on the wing leading edges. Easy but tedious.
I also started to add some rigging to the little airfix fokker.
I might be sending this kit to the shelf of doom, and buy a second one to start over. Between the decal problems, some paint rubbing off due to handling, and now paint beading up weirdly along the Uschi Van Der Rosten lines, its looking pretty rough. Next time I'll use EZ-Line, this Uschi stuff is spider web. Very in-scale, but very hard to work with, and almost invisible (which is why I tried to paint it). Sometimes perfectly to scale, and looking right, are not the same things.
Finally, one side of the tracks on the M3 is complete. They turned out a little funky, but the the fender sponson should hide most of the wide gappy bits. The length was about 0.25 of a link too long. Not sure where I went wrong.
