Grahameo's Workbench & WIP

Post by grahameo »

A couple of shots of my work area including my wip, I am still hanging onto the understairs location mainly because the sheds are to full (thank goodness).

Main workbench.

On the bench at the moment is a S.A. Bulldog, Short Stirling & a Glencoe Viscount 700

I have decided to curb my enthusiasim of jumping to kit to kit and now restrict myself to a least three
builds on the go at once.
The instruction holder you may hav noticed under the printer is a Durable Sherpa Display Sysem/Wall 10. a great space saver and protection for all my docs. they were being discarded to the bins till I managed to intersept them from my place of work. :-D

Rear Bench, mainly for tools and storage.

Its never usually this tidy.

Regards

Graham

Well it has been a while since I last posted on this forum, so here is an update to my workbench and what I have in WIP.

Image

What is on the bench currently is a land rover from Italeri the Cutty Sark from Airfix and a Trumpeter Gannet AS.Mk. 1/

Image

Still under the stairs, but even more tidier.
And in between I had a go with this little sideline.

Image

for 99p it kept me busy for all of 30 minutes, and I drive these as part of my job.
well till I next post have a good easter everyone.

Welcome back, Graham! You shouldn't have tidied just for us!

What happened to the Viscount? I have one in my stash and I'm curious what you made of it.

Interested in the Landy, I have one for building later in the year.
It's only pain, work through it.

Hi Paul, dont worry my bench will not stay like that for long. As for the Viscount that is still un finished and just to compound the issue I bought another also unfinished, I blaming research for the delay. :???:

Welcome back Graham. Will be following that Landy build. I have one I am trying not to start until I clear my builds. Trouble is I know Landies inside out. I know I will fuss over any and all missing details.

All the best

Greg

Nice and tidy work area. I know what you mean about too many kits on the go at once.
